Shipping Transit Times Canada
Transit time from date of sailing is approximately 15 days.  From arrival at Toronto terminal, the container will normally be unloaded at our agent’s warehouse within 5 working days.  Deliveries in Toronto can commence within a day or two of the shipments being unloaded and Customs cleared.  Clearance times are usually longer during June-August. Please allow longer for deliveries to rural or distant destinations, and particularly for destinations to which our agent may need to re-consolidate cargo (e.g. Manitoba, New Foundland provinces etc.).

Customs Clearance Canada
In Toronto our agent should be able to clear the consignment on behalf of your client, without them being present at the customs office. This is provided that all relevant documents have been completed and sent back to our agent. Our agent will give assistance to consignees with clearing their shipment through Customs. Please note the consignee must have residence status in Canada in order for the shipment to clear.

Documents required for shipping to Canada
All shipments must be accompanied by a packing list or inventory and a passport. We also need the UK address of the shipper, which can not be a business address. The destination address and telephone number must also be supplied. These details are required for Customs 24 hour Advanced Manifest System declaration, without which a shipment cannot be loaded on to a vessel.  We also recommend supply of the consignee’s email address.
