Moving an office is not a bigger house move. The constraint is downtime: every hour the phones are down or the team cannot work costs more than the removal itself. So a commercial move is planned backwards from the moment you need to be trading again.

What we move

  • Office furniture, desks and storage
  • Computers, servers and network equipment
  • POS systems, stock and equipment
  • Artwork, display pieces and reception fit-out
  • Archive files and records, catalogued so they can be found again

Businesses of every size, from a single studio to a multi-floor office. IT equipment is wrapped and crated separately from general furniture, because it is the part you cannot afford to have damaged.

How a commercial move is planned

Survey first. We walk both sites. Access, lift availability, loading bay times, floor protection and out-of-hours restrictions all shape the plan and the price, and none of them can be assessed over the phone.

Sequenced, not bulk. Departments move in an order that keeps the business trading. Commonly that means IT and comms first so the network is live before desks arrive, or a phased move across a weekend.

Labelled to destination. Every crate is labelled to a room and a desk position at the new site, so unpacking is not a scavenger hunt on Monday morning.

Out of hours where it helps. Evening and weekend moves cost more in labour but often far less in lost trading. We will price both so you can compare properly.

Storage between sites

Lease dates rarely line up. We can hold furniture, equipment or archive files between sites for as long as you need, catalogued so individual items can be retrieved without unpacking everything. See storage for how that works, including archive storage for records you must keep but rarely need.

  • Reviewing since October 2020, and still collecting them every month

Very professional team. Courteous, careful, helpful. Would not hesitate to use again and recommend. Brilliant job done at a good price.

A pleasure to deal with real human beings, who took the time to listen and react accordingly with my requests. I dealt with Debbie and Jessica, both of whom were delightful, polite and responsive.

Moving a business overseas

Commercial equipment and office contents ship internationally in the same way household goods do, by road within Europe or in a container by sea. Customs treats commercial goods differently from personal effects, so duty and documentation need checking before anything is booked. See international removals and talk to a coordinator early.

Getting a price

Commercial moves are quoted after a site survey, not from a list. The survey is free and carries no obligation. Bring your lease dates and any building restrictions to the first call and we can tell you quickly whether the timeline is realistic.
