What is included in shipping to Singapore?
Three ways to send your belongings: box shipping for single boxes and small parcels; container shipping as a shared container or a full 20ft, 40ft, or 45ft container; and a full moving service with professional packing and unpacking. All three include door-to-door collection and delivery, tracking, customs paperwork support and optional insurance.

How long do removals to Singapore take?
A full container to Singapore typically takes 6 to 8 weeks from collection to delivery, and a part load takes 8 to 12 weeks. The gap between the two is consolidation rather than sailing time: a shared container waits until it is full before it leaves, while a full container sails to your own schedule.
Those ranges cover the whole journey, not just the sea leg: packing and collection in the UK, the sailing itself, customs clearance at both ends, and delivery to your Singapore address. Because Singapore is a single city, the final delivery leg is short wherever you are moving to, so the part most likely to affect your date is filling the container rather than the final drive. Air freight takes 7 to 14 days and is priced on weight rather than volume, which suits a few urgent boxes rather than a household.
Can I send a part load to Singapore?
Yes. A part load, which shipping lines call LCL or a shared container, puts your belongings in a container alongside other consignments, so you pay for the space they occupy rather than for a whole container. For anything under roughly three bedrooms, it is usually the cheaper route.
The trade-off is timing, because a shared container waits to be filled before it sails. A full container load, or FCL, is exclusively yours and sails on your own schedule, which suits a whole household or a firm handover date. Our part load removals page explains how consolidation works.

What are the customs rules for shipping to Singapore?
Your used household goods and personal effects can enter Singapore free of GST if you are moving your residence there, you have owned and used them for at least three months, and they arrive within six months of your first arrival. You will need a copy of your passport and visa and an itemised list of the shipment.
To ship to Singapore, it is necessary to follow the following customs regulations:
- Personal effects: These should be shipped within six months of your arrival so that they can be entered duty-free.
- Documentation: You will need to provide a photocopy of your passport and visa, along with a list of your belongings.
- Banned goods: ThereSome items are restricted or prohibited; our team will also guide you to ensure compliance.
Do I pay GST on my belongings going into Singapore?
Usually not, if you are moving your residence to Singapore. Singapore Customs grant GST relief on used household articles and personal effects where you own them and have had them in your possession and use for at least three months, and where they arrive within six months of your first arrival in Singapore.
You also agree not to sell, give away or dispose of them within three months of their arrival. Relief does not extend to alcohol, tobacco, motor vehicles, private aircraft, boats, or yachts, regardless of your residency, and those are declared and taxed separately. Where relief does not apply, the goods clear on a Customs In-Payment permit instead, and your coordinator arranges it.

Removals to Singapore: frequently asked questions
What size container do I need for Singapore?
That depends on the volume of your belongings, not the number of rooms, which is why the survey measures it. We ship 20ft, 40ft, and 45ft containers, as well as a shared container when your volume doesn’t justify a whole one. The quote states the size and what it covers.
What documents do I need for shipping to Singapore?
Please provide a copy of your passport and your visa or employment pass, and an itemised list of the shipment with values, as zero value is not accepted. Declare alcohol, tobacco and any controlled items separately. We prepare the shipping paperwork and tell you which of your own documents to have ready.
Can you ship just a few boxes to Singapore?
Yes. Box shipping handles single boxes and smaller parcels door-to-door, with tracking and customs paperwork support, so you do not need a container or a full household move to send things over.
What sets the price of shipping to Singapore?
Four things: your shipment volume, whether it travels as a shared container, a full container or by air freight, how much packing you want us to do and access at both ends. The survey covers all four, and the quote gives you a cost breakdown instead of a single figure.
Can you pack for me?
Yes. Our packers wrap and box your belongings in export-grade materials and can unpack them at the destination, or we can drop off the materials beforehand if you’d prefer to pack yourself. We record everything on the inventory either way, because Singapore customs need the itemised list.
Do you deliver to condominiums and HDB blocks?
Yes. We work with local partners in Singapore who handle building access and the delivery arrangements a condominium or HDB block requires, including booking a service lift and agreeing on a delivery window with the management office. Tell us the building at survey, andwe’ll arrange it in advance before your container is unpacked.
Is my shipment insured?
Transit insurance is optional and covers loss or damage during an international move. Your quote sets out what the cover includes and what it costs, so you can decide before anything is collected.
