Removals to Asia and the Middle East

Door-to-door sea and air freight to eleven destinations across Asia and the Gulf.

Sea freight in a shared or dedicated container is the usual route to Asia and the Gulf. Air freight is available when you need belongings sooner, and many customers combine the two: a small air consignment of essentials, with the bulk following by sea.

Documentation is where these moves succeed or stall. Several destinations require you to clear the shipment in your own name, with your passport and visa or residency permit already issued. Timing your paperwork against your travel date matters as much as the shipping schedule.

Your visa usually decides your delivery date, not the ship.

This is the pattern across the Gulf in particular. Several destinations will not clear a household shipment as a transfer of residence until your residence visa has been issued and you are in the country. Sea freight to Dubai takes 4 to 6 weeks, which is rarely the slow part. The paperwork is. Book collection around your visa visit timeline in advance

Sea, air, or both

Sea freight in a shared or dedicated container is the normal route and the sensible one for furniture. Air freight costs considerably more and is priced by weight rather than space, so it’s worth it for a small, urgent consignment but rarely for a household. Combining the two is common: essentials by air, the rest by sea.
