Three things sit outside the relief and catch people out. Alcohol and tobacco never qualify, whatever else is in the load. Neither do commercial vehicles, nor anything intended for use in a trade or profession, with the exception of portable instruments of the applied or liberal arts. And for twelve months after your goods are released you may not lend, hire out, pledge or sell them without telling customs first, which is worth knowing before you plan to sell a car or a piece of equipment on arrival. The exact paperwork is confirmed with you at quote stage, because the supporting documents differ by circumstance.
